Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center hosted its annual “A Celebration for Life” luncheon and awards ceremony at Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel on Feb. 28. More than 700 gold-level groups were recognized for the countless lives they have saved through their efforts hosting at least one blood drive per quarter in 2013.
The event also featured a testimonial by Tyler Dalme, who received nearly 50 units of blood during a life-saving surgery after a traffic accident. Click here to read Tyler’s story.
