Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Appreciates High School Teachers!
In appreciation for everything you do to host Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center blood drives, we are pleased to offer a workshop for Health Science Teachers. Check here for the Workshop Lesson Plan.
Sallie Bittner is a Registered Medical Technologist, an experienced phlebotomist, and Certified Secondary Science Teacher. She honed her phlebotomy skills during her 16 years working in a fast-paced lab for pediatrics, internal medicine and ob/gyn. Her career at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has focused on training a wide variety of professionals within the organization, including delivering the “Train the Trainer” course required for all trainers across the organization. As a science teacher with 7 years teaching High School Chemistry under her belt, she has insight into what really goes on in the high school classroom. Sallie is excited to share her unique expertise with HST teachers.
