Diamonds for Donors Winner in Spring

Matthew Zmolek James is our second winner in the Diamonds for Donor promotion. Matthew Zmolek James, a teacher in the Spring area, is the proud winner of a set of his and hers Fossil-brand Commit for Life watches from Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. James, who began donating blood as a high school student in California, is one of 12 winners who will receive a set of watches through The Blood Center's Diamonds for Donors promotion during April and May. One lucky donor will take home the grand prize - a piece of diamond jewelry!

When asked why he's a Commit for Life donor, James says that saving lives is one reason. "I also come for the conversation," he says. The staff at The Woodlands Neighborhood Donor Center on College Park Drive know him by name because he donates every two weeks. Having given platelets, red blood cells and plasma, he's been able to make a difference in countless lives.
