Research/Grant Program
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center offers research grants annually. The purpose is to promote research and development in all scientific, medical/technical and administrative aspects of blood banking, including, but not limited to, immunohematology, transfusion therapy, tissue typing and related activities.
Investigators must be on the regular staff of the institution where the research will be conducted. The institution must be located in the Texas Gulf Coast region served by The Blood Center. The investigator must have available for use adequate laboratory or office space and basic equipment
Deadline for submission is September 15.
