New 100 Gallon Donor

Congratulations to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s newest 100-gallon blood donor, Marsha Asplin. Marsha is only the second female blood donor to achieve 100 gallons in the Texas Gulf Coast region, and she celebrated her accomplishment at the Memorial City Community Council’s blood drive on Aug. 19.

She received a plaque and 100-gallon mug in honor of her commitment. Marsha has been donating since 1983 and Commits for Life as a donor, community council member and chairperson at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, where she organizes six blood drives a year.
