Congratulations Dennis Chermak!

Like Continental Airlines, which partners with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for a quarterly giveaway, blood donor Dennis Chermak is committed to saving lives. Chermak is the most recent winner of a pair of Continental Airlines tickets to anywhere in the contiguous United States. He was randomly selected from all those who donated or attempted to donate between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2005.

A donor at St. Ignatius Catholic Community, Chermak is a Commit for Life member who gives blood on an ongoing basis. “I have always supported The Blood Center, and it has been easy to recruit new donors by example,” he says. The tickets were presented to him at a ceremony at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s headquarters. Chermak, a resident of the Champions area, said he plans to use the tickets to attend a family wedding in California in the spring.
