Spotlight on Success:
It’s Good to be Gold!
It’s not too late to qualify for the many benefits of being a gold-level
Commit for Life group! It’s as easy as hosting at least one drive per quarter,
scheduling your donors and spreading the work by forming a blood drive committee.
If you have not already qualified by hosting quarterly drives, consider adding
a holiday blood drive. You will help save lives at a critical time of the
year and be eligible for gold-level rewards like:
* Invitation to "A Celebration of Life" Annual Awards Event
All gold-level Commit for Life groups that achieve at least 100 donations in
a year are invited to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's "A Celebration
of Life" group recognition event. This prestigious event allows gold-level
groups to be recognized among their blood drive peers in the community.
* Path for Success Award
“A Celebration of Life” invitees will receive our Path for Success
Award to commemorate their achievements from the previous year. Displaying this
beautiful award lets those in your donor group know they are among the very best
because of their life-saving efforts.
* Eligibility for “A Celebration of Life” Special Category
Awards
At "A Celebration of Life," Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will
present our prestigious awards for outstanding achievements of donor groups,
committees and blood drive chairpersons. As a gold-level Commit for Life group,
you are eligible to be nominated for Group of the Year, Event of the Year or
