The Lufkin Neighborhood Donor Center features three donor screening rooms and three collection beds, with whole blood and automated collection technology to maximize the benefit of your donations. This location also has a children's play area where donors can watch their children enjoy movies, toys and video games.
If you are required to have blood drawn as a form of treatment (polycythemia or porphyria cutanea tarda), you may visit any Neighborhood Donor Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the procedure, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Note: The Blood Center changed its policies regarding therapeutic phlebotomy effective June 26, 2018.
Please read this information about therapeutic phlebotomy before your visit.
