Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Partners with Texas’ Oldest Craft Brewey for their Annual Promotion
10/1/2022
Raise your glasses to saving lives! Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is partnering with Texas' oldest craft brewery, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, this October as part of our annual Pint-for-Pint promotion to help replenish our community's on-hand supply of blood.
Saint Arnold has been partnering with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center since 2016 and continues to support our mission to save lives. They have graciously donated beer vouchers, good for one free pint of beer at their taphouse, to all successful donors 21 years of age and up who donate Oct. 1–31, 2022.
"Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is one of Saint Arnold's longest running and favorite annual partnerships," said Lennie Ambrose, Chief Marketing Officer at Saint Arnold Brewing Company. "Since we are Texas's Oldest Craft Brewery, we like to be involved in and support people and organizations that are doing good and fun things every day, and this one definitely fits," said Ambrose.
Donors may redeem their vouchers at the brewery located at 2000 Lyons Ave. near Downtown Houston from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2022. Donors must be 21 years of age or older to receive the free voucher.
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center serves the largest medical center in the world, Texas Medical Center, where the need for heroes and blood is constant. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center must ensure that 1,000 blood units are donated daily to best serve the 170 hospitals and healthcare facilities in our community.
We are asking all eligible donors to commit to donating frequently to maintain the constant need for blood in our community. For any unforeseen emergencies, such as hurricanes, it's the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives. Cheers to saving lives with Saint Arnold!
