Blood donations save lives! In August 2021, Kennedy was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. He received blood during his emergency surgery and additional transfusions as part of his outpatient medical treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital. Kennedy’s family members of our Friendswood church are very thankful for your Commit for Life donation for all patients.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and the New Hope Curches of Alvin, Manvel, and Friendswood invite you to join us on Sunday, October 17, 2021 and donate blood in honor of Kennedy.

Appointments preferred.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will end its COVID-19 antibody testing on December 31, 2021.

For a limited time, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will test all blood donations for the COVID-19 antibody in addition to our standard testing. To view the results, donors can access their Digital Donor account approximately 7 days post-donation. The donation must be successful to receive COVID-19 antibody results. This test is authorized by the FDA to detect the presence of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 and is not intended to diagnose COVID-19.  This test does not detect vaccine-related immunity.
