It takes only one hour to donate blood, but it has the power to change everything. Gulf Coast Regional Blood center will be thanking donors who give blood from January 15-31, 2023, with a “One Hour Changes Everything” t-shirt and a voucher for a free adult entrée at Black Bear Diner.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is the sole provider of blood and blood components 24/7 to more than 170 hospitals and health care facilities in a 26-county Texas Gulf Coast region. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is a nonprofit organization and is accredited by the Food and Drug Administration.  

Diego, once battling leukemia, was declared cancer-free in 2021 after receiving many blood transfusions as part of his therapy at Texas Children’s Hospital. Diego is a very active kid who loves to play and ride his bike. He feels tremendous gratitude toward those who sacrifice their time to donate blood.
