As temperatures rise and summer travel picks up, blood donations often decline across our region. The need for blood, however, never slows down. Patients in local hospitals rely on a steady supply every day.
From June 8 - 30 and July 1 - 31, 2026, you can help keep our community’s blood supply strong. Donate blood with Gulf Coast Blood to support patients across Houston and earn points for your donation. Those points can be redeemed in the Donor Rewards Store for a $25 eGift Card as a thank you for giving your time and helping others.
Your donation helps patients receive the care they need and strengthens the health of our community during the summer months.
How to Participate:
- Find a convenient location near you and schedule your appointment.
- Donate Blood between June 8 - 30 or July 1 - 31, 2026.
- Claim Your Reward: Two days after your donation, your points will be available in your Digital Donor account. Access the Reward Store to redeem your eGift Card.
- Before ordering your eGift Card, ensure your Digital Donor account has a valid email address so you don’t miss out on your rewards!

Elena’s Story:
Finding Courage Through Every Transfusion
Elena was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in December 2022 and relied on many transfusions that helped her regain strength and continue treatment. Her dad describes her as a champion who grew from a shy child into an outgoing and caring big sister, and the moment she rang the bell at the end of treatment was one their family will never forget. He says they will always be grateful for the donors who made her care possible and for Gulf Coast Blood, which supported them with lifesaving products and community blood drives held in her honor.
