Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the program, applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be interested in working for Gulf Coast Blood after completing the program.
Program Details
Program length: 7 weeks
Schedule: 4 days per week, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Class size: Approximately 15 to 20 students per cohort
Cohort timing: Cohorts begin periodically. The first cohort launched in May 2026.

Students who successfully complete the program and meet all requirements are prepared to move directly into phlebotomist roles supporting donor collections at Gulf Coast Blood.
