Summer brings vacations, packed calendars, and changes in routine but the need for blood remains constant. Every day, patients across our community rely on blood transfusions for surgeries, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical needs.
To help make donating more convenient during the busy summer months, select Donor Centers are offering expanded hours, giving you more opportunities to roll up your sleeve when it works best for your schedule.
And there's even more reason to make an appointment. When you successfully donate blood in June or July, you'll receive a $25 eGift Card and a complimentary A1c screening as a thank-you for helping keep the blood supply strong.
Your donation helps ensure local hospitals have the blood products they need to care for patients without interruption. When more donors step up during the summer, our entire community benefits.
